WS.PEMS
Every boiler, every flare, every venting event covered. Continuous emissions data, live across your entire site, feeding straight into your existing process systems.
Boilers & Heaters
Our models calculate energy and mass balances across each section of the boiler or furnace from radiation to convection, and economizer. Then it determines the exact conditions in the combustion zones that govern emission formation and combustion efficiency.
WS.PEMS for boilers and heaters meet the requirements of EN 14181, US EPA 40 CFR Part 60 and 75 (PS16), and SN-CEN TS 17198:2018.
An online data reconciliation system runs continuously alongside the model. Input data errors or sensor failures are detected and corrected where possible and flagged when not.

Flares
The flare model in WS.PEMS is built on the physical relations between measured fuel flow rate, flare design, wind speed, and gas composition.
Coming soon! For flares with low levels of instrumentation, we are collaborating to develop new image-processing solutions to keep flare combustion efficient. Read about FlareVision here.
OGMP 2.0 Level 4 compliant. The flare model meets OGMP 2.0 level 4 requirements. Note that due to the limited number of available input values, it does not qualify as a full PEMS model under US EPA Performance Specifications even though its accuracy is substantially higher than standard emission factor approaches.
Venting
WS.PEMS quantifies vented emissions continuously across your entire site and integrates them into the same OGMP 2.0-aligned reporting platform as your combustion and flaring sources.
