Dr. Jan Sandvig is a key international expert in Predictive Emission Monitoring Systems (PEMS). Together with co-founder Mogens Weel, Jan Sandvig has been the architect behind the Weel & Sandvig’s world class WS.PEMS system. Jan Sandvig holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.

Mogens has 40 years of experience within Turbomachinery, process simulation and energy optimization and is in charge of our heat pump development WS.Turbo. Mogens has developed different innovative energy efficient solutions in the field of Carbon Capture. Mogens holds B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.

LEAD HARDWARE ENGINEER
Jens is a master of mechanical components, which he combines in his work to develop the next generation industrial heat pumps. He is both designing and simulating them digitally and putting it all together in our experiment hall at DTU in Lyngby. Jens holds a Ph.D and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from DTU – Technical University of Denmark.

Magnus is Weel & Sandvig´s Head of Software Development and is fully dedicated to our Predictive Emission Monitoring Systems (PEMS) and the Team behind. As a key driver for PEMS Magnus is in charge of the overall architectural design of the PEMS and Environmental reporting system software. Magnus holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.

Guillaume holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.Sc. in Enviromental Engineering. He focuses on project execution as part of our Predictive Emission Monitoring Systems (PEMS) Team. Guillaume is the main person for our Environmental reporting system.
MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER
Andreas is part of Weel & Sandvig´s Predictive Emission Monitoring Systems (PEMS) Team. His focus is model development & research approached from a Machine Learning angle. Andreas holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics & Technology and while working at Weel & Sandvig he is also pursuing his M.Sc. in Mathematical Modelling and Computation at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
EMISSIONS MODELING ENGINEER
Knut holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Technology and an M.Sc. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from DTU, the Technical University of Denmark. His primary focus is on developing mathematical models for combustion systems, which are key to Predictive Emission Monitoring Systems (PEMS). As the team's FTIR expert, Knut manages the measurement equipment essential for validating and calibrating PEMS models. His expertise in FTIR technology and emissions monitoring ensures precise and accurate data collection, which is critical to the accuracy and reliability of PEM

Mette has a broad background with a wide range of experiences. At Weel & Sandvig Mette is overall responsible for our accounting, taking care of internal & external communication. She is also the main person for coordinating our business activities, both internally and with Weel & Sandvig´s Customers and Business Partners.

Support Manager Mr. Vairamuthu Sethuraman comes with a robust background in instrument and automation, Vairamuthu provides first-level support in the Middle East region representing from UAE, Abu Dhabi for predictive emission measurement system (PEMS).
SENIOR SPECIALIST
Michael is an expert in internal combustion engine modeling and computational fluid dynamics, with 18 years of extensive experience working with marine engines in academia. His deep knowledge from these years of academic work will play a vital l role in advancing the scientific efforts at Weel & Sandvig. Michael is now contributing his expertise to the WS.PEMS team, where his primary focus is on engine modeling. He holds both a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from DTU, the Technical University of Denmark.
STUDENT EMISSIONS MODELLING ENGINEER
Mette holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry & Technology with focus on high temperature process, Mette main focus is to support the R&D team development of future models to be used in the PEMS system and in the reporting of measurements campaigns. When Mette is not busy working, she is pursuing her M.Sc. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
